Trainer – HimCoffee®
Role Overview
EPCC Global LDA, as part of the expansion of the HimCoffee® Cafe portfolio throughout Europe, is looking for a Trainer to join its units in Portugal. The professional will be responsible for training and developing teams, ensuring excellent service and a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs for baristas and staff on coffee preparation, brewing techniques, customer service, and HimCoffee® standards
- Conduct onboarding sessions for new employees and refresher courses for existing staff
- Evaluate trainee performance through assessments, practical demonstrations, and feedback
- Maintain up-to-date training materials, manuals, and documentation reflecting industry best practices
- Coach and mentor staff to improve skills, efficiency, and customer experience
- Collaborate with management to identify skill gaps and training needs
- Monitor training effectiveness and implement improvements as needed
- Ensure trainees adhere to food safety, hygiene, and operational standards
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Education, or related field preferred
- Professional certification in training, barista skills, or coffee education is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, latte art, and café operations
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills
- Ability to engage and motivate diverse learners
- Proficiency with digital learning tools and training documentation
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the coffee or hospitality industry
- Proven experience in training, mentoring, or facilitating learning sessions
- Hands-on expertise in coffee preparation, latte art, and café operations
- Experience in developing training programs and materials
